It all started In 2010
It all started In 2010, the fashion-forward home collection of Sam & Vinay Golchha’s eclectic Textile company called Cloud9Design was an instant hit and their products can be seen in the most exclusive design centers around the world. they then decided to offer a curated mix of textiles and launch their own e-retail business through oncloud9.com

Our customer is a creative-minded woman, who wants to look like herself, not the masses. She has a sense of adventure about what she puts in her home, and although fashion is important to her, she is too busy enjoying life to be governed by the latest trends. To her, oncloud9.com is a portal of discovery, a brush with what could be. It is a place where you are truly on Cloud 9!
Craftmanship
Sam Golchha studied the art of ancient textiles in India and also graduated with a degree in Textile Design from Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), New York in the year 2000 before traveling back to India, Morocco and other faraway lands on an inspirational journey, where she discovered rich techniques and other forms of textile art and designs and those traditions inspired the creation of oncloud9.com. The beauty and richness of the unique textiles, excellent craftsmanship, each made and checked by hand, wonderful form and elegance of designs are some of the distinguishing characteristics of Cloud9’s extraordinary designs, inspiring thoughtful appreciation and bringing a sense of ceremony in their day-to-day use. Each Cloud9 piece is handmade, so no two items are exactly alike.
