Sam Golchha studied the art of ancient textiles in India and also graduated with a degree in Textile Design from Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), New York in the year 2000 before traveling back to India, Morocco and other faraway lands on an inspirational journey, where she discovered rich techniques and other forms of textile art and designs and those traditions inspired the creation of oncloud9.com. The beauty and richness of the unique textiles, excellent craftsmanship, each made and checked by hand, wonderful form and elegance of designs are some of the distinguishing characteristics of Cloud9’s extraordinary designs, inspiring thoughtful appreciation and bringing a sense of ceremony in their day-to-day use.
